New volunteers from Texas EquuSearch will arrive in Upstate New York this Sunday, April 27th to assist with the search for Jaliek Rainwalker. John and Sharon Sanders will be traveling from Ohio and bringing special Side Scan Sonar equipment as well as a Radio Operated Vehicle (ROV) that is an unmanned, remote controlled mini-sub equipped with a camera capable of transmitting images to the surface. They will be leaving from the Schuylerville Marina at approximately 11:00am on Sunday to search the area where the Batten Kill and Hudson Rivers meet. A search of the Hudson River in the Troy and Albany areas using this equipment is planned for the following day. Lou Renna, owner of Dutch Apple Cruises in Albany has graciously donated the use of a pontoon boat for use in the search.
